What we can back up

  • When a document is a scan with no source to fix, we rebuild it as an accessible, completable format a student can actually finish. A person reviews every rebuilt document before it is published, and the launch scope is worksheets, handouts and forms.

  • DOJ's Title II web rule covers documents alongside web content and mobile apps, with WCAG 2.1 AA due by April 26, 2027 for public entities serving 50,000 or more people and April 26, 2028 for smaller entities and special districts, subject to a defined exception structure.

  • Institutions report course document backlogs in the tens of thousands of files, and at manual remediation rates those backlogs cannot be cleared in the time left.
